Deep FREEZE... and Thaw! Hanging on to Winter in the TEXAS Hill Country!

Help us to be always the hopeful gardeners of the spirit who know that without darkness nothing comes to birth as without light nothing flowers. - May Sarton

Icicles hang from a rock ledge... suspended mid-fall by a deep FREEZE, a crystal clear Texas Hill Country Creek
OVER the WATERFALL! ICE on a
TEXAS HILL COUNTRY CREEK

Suspended by a deep, end of winter FREEZE, a crystal clear Texas Hill Country Creek turns to icicles mid-waterfall. Autumn grasses lay down in the field under the frozen weight. A FLASH of FREEZE and mist, and the landscape is instantly transformed to ICE White.

There is a stillness, a WOW-factor QUIET that descends with a FLASH FREEZE!

Across the meadow,  a Yaupon Holly decked out in brilliant red berries and a wild pear dressed in white Spring blossoms, seem bigger and brighter against the field of ice.
